My Talent’s Name Is Generator - Chapter 1169
Chapter 1169: The Battle 6
The words had barely left my mouth when the ancient tablet descended from the heavens.
It did not appear with the overwhelming spectacle of my full Soul Projection. There was no gigantic figure behind me, no crown or staff, and no need to reveal everything I possessed. The tablet was enough for now.
Two enormous chains followed it from the darkness above, each one thicker than a mountain and covered in ancient runes. They descended with a thunderous clang before anchoring themselves deep into the fractured battlefield, while the tablet itself stopped behind me, hovering upright like an ancient monument.
The instant its final rune illuminated, my Domain unfolded.
Violet-silver radiance spread outward from the tablet in every direction, rolling across the battlefield like an enormous tide. Wherever it passed, the oppressive darkness of Viserys’s Soul Sanctuary was forced backward. Her endless black ocean recoiled as though it had encountered an opposing force that it could not simply swallow, and the pressure bearing down upon the surviving Saints weakened enough for them to breathe again.
Viserys watched the expansion with narrowed eyes.
“So this is your Domain.”
I didn’t answer.
I simply stepped forward. She did the same. The distance between us disappeared.
Our fists collided.
BOOM!
The impact produced a shockwave powerful enough to tear a circular crater into the ground beneath us. The surrounding space distorted violently and fractures appeared in the space as our Soul Force collided, and the shockwave swept across the battlefield, forcing even the injured Saints to reinforce themselves.
Viserys’s expression changed.
She had expected me to rely on my Domain. Instead, I had already appeared in front of her.
Her knee drove toward my ribs.
I twisted sideways, allowing it to pass by my body, and immediately drove my elbow toward her jaw. She blocked with her forearm, but the collision sent her several hundred meters backward through the air. Before she could stabilize herself, I vanished and reappeared above her.
My fist descended.
She raised both arms. The impact drove her straight into the earth.
BOOM!
The ground collapsed beneath her, creating another enormous crater.
I didn’t give her time to recover. I appeared inside the crater and threw another punch.
She caught my wrist.
Her black eyes met mine.
“Death.”
She twisted my arm and kicked me across the battlefield.
I flew through the air before stopping myself with Soul Force, but Viserys was already there. Her fist struck my chest before I could fully stabilize.
The impact sent me crashing through the ground.
I immediately pushed myself upward, only to see her descending toward me with her palm extended.
I disappeared.
Echo Reversion carried me behind her.
I formed a blade from condensed Soul Force in my hand and swung it toward her neck. She turned at the last possible moment.
A black blade materialized in her hand and collided with mine.
The two weapons shattered simultaneously.
We separated.
Then we vanished again.
The battlefield became a blur of movement.
We teleported across the ruined landscape, appearing hundreds or thousands of meters apart before colliding again. Every punch carried enough force to kill an ordinary Saint. Every kick shattered the ground beneath whoever received it. Whenever our fists met, the surrounding space fractured, and whenever our Soul Force collided, enormous shockwaves rolled across the battlefield.
Neither of us was willing to give the other an opening.
But our physical battle was only half of the confrontation.
Above us, our Domains had begun fighting their own war.
The black ocean of Viserys surged forward, sending hundreds of enormous tentacles through the darkness. Their mouths opened as they rushed toward the surviving Saints, the rows of teeth within them dripping with black liquid.
My tablet responded instantly.
Violet-silver runes illuminated across its surface.
The air inside my Domain froze.
Hundreds of enormous ice spears materialized simultaneously, each one formed from condensed Soul Force and layered with the authority of my Major Law of Elemental Convergence. They shot forward like a storm of silver weapons, meeting the tentacles head-on.
The first spear pierced a tentacle. Ice spread instantly across its entire length.
The black creature writhed violently before shattering into countless fragments.
Another tentacle was frozen from its mouth to its base and broke apart under its own movement.
Dozens more followed.
The battlefield filled with explosions of black liquid and crystalline Soul Force.
Yet the tentacles kept coming.
Several slipped through the barrage and reached the surviving Saints.
Kaelra attempted to burn one away, but the creature wrapped around her arm before she could completely destroy it. She tore it apart with her claws, but not before a portion of her Soul Force was ripped away.
Sue barely managed to freeze another in time, yet the contact still caused her body to tremble as the creature attempted to reach her soul.
Gerald opened a dimensional rift beneath one and redirected it into another part of the battlefield, but even he was unable to prevent a second tentacle from grazing his shoulder.
The damage was accumulating.
The Saints were already exhausted from the previous battle, and Viserys’s Domain was designed specifically to attack their souls rather than merely injure their bodies.
I felt another wave of black energy surge toward them.
My Domain reacted.
The Major Law of Harmony spread through the violet-silver field, synchronizing the scattered energies of the surviving Saints and stabilizing their damaged Soul Force. At the same time, the Major Law of Consumption began stripping the corrosive energy from the tentacles whenever they entered my Domain.
It wasn’t enough to completely protect them.
But it bought them time.
A tremendous roar suddenly came from above.
I looked up.
The black ocean had changed shape.
An enormous palm was emerging from it once again, but this time it was moving directly toward my Domain. The hand was smaller than the monstrous palm Viserys had previously summoned, yet it remained large enough to cover a significant portion of the sky.
The countless faces embedded within it opened their mouths. The screams returned.
My tablet trembled.
The chains anchoring it to the battlefield began vibrating violently.
I raised my hand.
“Bounded Reality.”
The world responded.
My Major Law of Bounded Reality spread across the Domain, establishing invisible boundaries throughout the surrounding space. The enormous black palm struck the first boundary and slowed. Then it encountered another.
And another.
The impact caused the entire Domain to shake, but the palm’s momentum continued diminishing.
I layered Spacetime over it.
Space stretched.
Time distorted.
The palm seemed to move through an endless corridor where every meter became a thousand, while the passage of time around its surface slowed to a crawl.
Then I added Tempest.
A massive violet-silver storm formed inside my Domain, its winds carrying compressed Soul Force and countless elemental attacks. Lightning, ice, wind and fire converged within the storm, tearing pieces from the black palm as it struggled to advance.
Viserys noticed.
Her eyes narrowed and instantly she appeared beside me again.
Her fist came toward my face with enough force to distort the air around it. I raised my arm just in time, and our fists collided with a thunderous impact that sent a shockwave through the battlefield.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
