Summary
By the time Ye Qingtang reaches Lingyun Cliff, there is nowhere left to go.
The cultivation world knows her name, though not for the reasons she would have preferred. Powerful factions are searching for her, old grudges have piled up over the years, and the strange secret hidden within her has attracted far more attention than she ever wanted. Standing at the edge of defeat, Ye Qingtang is forced to watch everything she fought to protect slip beyond her reach.
Then she wakes up years earlier.
The familiar faces around her are younger, places she remembers have not yet changed, and many of the events that once turned her life upside down have yet to happen. For a moment, it almost feels unreal. The family she thought she had lost is still there, old acquaintances are living their ordinary lives, and the road ahead no longer looks exactly the way she remembers.
That does not mean things are safe.
The problems waiting for Ye Qingtang did not appear overnight in her previous life. Some had already begun long before she noticed them. Certain people are still hiding their intentions, old schemes are quietly taking shape, and opportunities she once overlooked are appearing in front of her again.
This time, she pays attention.
Back then, Ye Qingtang spent too much time trusting the wrong people and reacting after trouble had already arrived. Now she has the advantage of experience, though experience alone cannot solve everything. Her cultivation is still weak, her circumstances are far from ideal, and many of the individuals she wishes to avoid are far stronger than she is.
Even so, she has no interest in repeating the same path.
The cultivation world remains as competitive as ever, filled with sects, inheritances, rival geniuses, and people willing to do almost anything for power. For Ye Qingtang, however, the greatest challenge is not changing the future.
It is figuring out how much of the past she truly understood in the first place.
