Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 - Chapter 1815
Chapter 1815: Damian Vs Max
“Come,” Max said, holding Dragonheart with both hands.
He was also curious about Damian Voss. Since Damian was the strongest genius of Sword God Palace and someone deeply connected to the Sword God Legacy, Max wanted to see what kind of sword path he was following.
However, Max did not release Emotion Severing Path. He did not summon Divine King Punishment, activate his dragon scales, or use any overwhelming bloodline pressure. He simply held Dragonheart like a swordsman and waited.
Damian noticed this and smiled faintly.
“So you want to exchange pure sword moves first?”
Max smiled back. “Is that not what you asked for?”
Damian’s eyes became sharper. “Good.”
The next instant, Damian moved.
His figure disappeared from where he stood, and a silver-white sword arc appeared in front of Max’s chest. The slash was fast, clean, and extremely precise. It carried no Pseudo Cosmic Path, no grand sword image, and no overwhelming force, but the technique itself was flawless enough to make many swordsmen on the tower feel their scalps go numb.
Max raised Dragonheart and blocked.
Clang!
The sound of metal rang across the sky.
Damian’s sword slid along Dragonheart’s edge, changed direction midway, and slashed toward Max’s wrist. Max turned his hand, lowered the tip of Dragonheart, and used the flat of his sword to redirect the attack. Damian stepped closer at once, his sword suddenly transforming into three afterimages that struck toward Max’s throat, chest, and waist from three different angles.
Max’s eyes remained calm.
He stepped back half a pace, turned his body sideways, and swept Dragonheart in a clean circular motion. The three sword afterimages shattered at the same time, and before Damian could press forward again, Max’s sword had already thrust toward his shoulder.
Damian’s eyes flickered.
He blocked the thrust, twisted his wrist, and forced Max’s blade aside before countering with a downward slash.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
In just a few breaths, the two exchanged more than thirty sword moves.
There were no massive explosions. There were no divine lights. There were no terrifying cosmic path manifestations. Yet every exchange made the spectators on the tower more shocked than the last.
The battle was not loud, but it was dangerous. Each sword move was aimed at a vital opening. Each defense was timed perfectly. Each counterattack appeared exactly where the opponent’s next move should have been weakest.
The crowd slowly fell silent.
Someone swallowed hard. “He is actually keeping up with Damian Voss in pure sword moves?”
Another person muttered, “Damian is from Sword God Palace. Even without using his full power, his sword foundation should be terrifying. How is Max Morgan not losing?”
“He is not only not losing,” a woman said with wide eyes. “He is countering all of Damien’s moves.”
That sentence made the crowd even more shocked.
In the distance, Rakan Thorne folded his arms and watched with a grin, but the careless smile on his face slowly became more serious. “Interesting. I thought that sword was only strong because of its grade and his strange path, but his sword skill itself is not weak at all.”
Near another floating ruin, Princess Rosaline stood with several people from the Lunarian Kingdom. Her golden-pink hair moved slightly in the wind as she watched Max and Damian exchange sword moves.
Her beautiful eyes revealed clear surprise. “He can really exchange sword techniques with Damian Voss without falling behind. It seems I still underestimated him.”
One of the Lunarian Kingdom geniuses beside her said in disbelief, “Princess, Damian Voss is the strongest swordsman of Sword God Palace’s younger generation. Even if he is not using his true sword path, his basic swordsmanship should already be at the peak among us.”
Rosaline nodded slightly. “That is exactly why this is surprising.”
Farther away, Orion Starfall stood above a broken stone pillar with his arms crossed. His nine star marks flickered faintly as he watched the battle. At first, he had only been observing casually, but after seeing Max block Damian’s seventh consecutive sword-chain without losing position, his eyes sharpened.
“Interesting,” Orion said softly. “His sword foundation is also this stable.”
Near the shadow of a cracked mountain, Kaiden Voidmere watched in silence, his silver-gray eyes calm and deep. He had already sensed the Void Genesis Art in Max before, but now he was seeing another side of him.
Max’s sword was not as refined as Damian’s in some areas, but his adaptability was frightening. Every time Damian changed rhythm, Max adjusted almost instantly.
Back in the sky, Damian’s sword suddenly became faster.
His blade moved like flowing silver water, sometimes soft, sometimes sharp, sometimes direct, and sometimes impossible to predict.
One moment, his sword seemed to be retreating. The next moment, it was already aimed at Max’s heart. He did not use any Pseudo Cosmic Path, but the rhythm of his sword alone carried an oppressive feeling, as though every movement had been polished through countless battles and teachings.
Max did not panic.
His Dimensional Sovereign Body helped him sense every change around him, but he did not rely on it completely. He forced himself to respond with swordsmanship.
Dragonheart moved in his hands, blocking, cutting, redirecting, and countering. Some of Damian’s moves were cleaner than his. Some of Damian’s angles were more refined. But Max’s sword carried something Damian had not expected.
Growth.
Each exchange made Max adapt faster.
At first, Damian’s sword forced Max to defend more than attack. After fifty moves, Max began countering once every few exchanges. After a hundred moves, he was able to interrupt Damian’s sword rhythm. After nearly two hundred moves, his sword had already adjusted to Damian’s style enough to create danger in return.
Clang!
Their swords locked in midair.
Damian looked at Max from across the crossed blades, and for the first time, his calm expression showed clear surprise.
“You are learning my sword rhythm while fighting me.”
Max smiled faintly. “You noticed?”
Damian’s eyes became even sharper. “Of course I noticed.”
Max pushed forward, and the two separated at the same time.
The crowd on the tower had already become completely quiet.
Even those who had been waiting to take advantage of a weakened genius no longer dared to think recklessly. This was not a battle they could interfere in. Damian Voss had just fought Rakan Thorne to a draw, and now Max Morgan was exchanging sword moves with him without losing. That alone was enough to place Max’s name at the same height as the top monsters of the first round.
Damian suddenly stepped forward again.
This time, his sword descended in a simple straight slash.
Max raised Dragonheart and met it directly.
Clang!
The two swords collided, and both fighters stopped in place.
No one moved for a breath.
Then Damian withdrew his sword first.
“That is enough for pure sword moves,” he said calmly.
Max lowered Dragonheart slightly. “Done already?”
Damian looked at him with a faint smile. “If we continue like this, it will no longer remain an exchange. I will start wanting to use my real sword path.”
Max smiled. “I was waiting to see it.”
The spectators immediately became tense again.
