Summary
If someone had told Lin Xuan that he would wake up one day and become the father of four daughters, he would have laughed and gone back to whatever he was doing.
His life wasn’t particularly exciting. The family business earned enough money, the days passed comfortably, and compared to the cultivators constantly chasing power and reputation, he was probably a little too relaxed. Marriage proposals arrived every now and then, usually from families more interested in his appearance than anything else, but none of them ever went anywhere.
There was only one woman he remembered.
Years ago, he found an injured woman and helped her recover. They spent a short period of time together before she disappeared without leaving much behind except questions. After a while, even those questions faded.
Then she showed up at his door again.
This time she brought four children.
The situation would have been shocking enough on its own. The bigger surprise came when Lin Xuan learned who she actually was. The woman he remembered from years ago was Donghuang Ziyou, the Ice Empress of North Mystic Heaven, someone whose name carried enough weight to make powerful cultivators nervous.
As for the four little girls, they seemed far more interested in calling him Father than explaining anything.
Lin Xuan soon discovers that children have a remarkable ability to disrupt perfectly peaceful lives. Quiet afternoons disappear, routines stop making sense, and simple plans somehow become complicated the moment four curious daughters get involved. Before long, he is spending more time solving their problems than worrying about his own.
The strange thing is that he doesn’t particularly mind.
The cultivation world remains just as chaotic as before, filled with influential figures, ancient forces, and troubles he would normally avoid. Unfortunately, avoiding trouble becomes much harder when four daughters keep finding ways to wander straight into it.
For Lin Xuan, fatherhood arrives without warning.
Everything after that is an adjustment.
