Capítulo 2500: Chapter 236: True Spirit Transformation

At this moment.

A peculiar feeling inexplicably emerged in Wang Ba’s heart.

He seemed to sense that he had become one with the entire space.

His perception rapidly extended from this waterside pavilion downward into the Water of Origin below.

As if he had finally been acknowledged by the bottomless Realm Sea of Origin…

A moment of realization arose in Wang Ba’s heart:

“The Realm Sea of Origin is responding to my great vow, perhaps because it also perceives the influence of the Supreme True Buddha on the Third Realm Sea?”

“The Supreme True Buddha is like a lesion within the Realm Sea, if not eradicated, it will sooner or later consume the entire Realm Sea…”

“But if even it can sense this, then what about Taiyuan, the Lord of Realm Sea?”

Vaguely, he seemed to understand something, but felt more confused:

“But if things are as I suspect, why doesn’t the other party appear directly to tell me? Why go through so many twists?”

Though not entirely sure, he faintly felt that this might involve something beyond his understanding, a higher level.

Suddenly realizing a problem within himself, he reflected on how Taiyuan, the Lord of the Third Realm Sea, does not appear in the True Immortal directory.

Puzzled:

“What cultivation realm does Taiyuan, the Lord of Realm Sea, possess?”

“Surely, it cannot be a Golden Immortal; if it were, the other party wouldn’t need to go to such lengths.”

“Listening to his conversations with the guests, the possibility of being a True Immortal is also unlikely, perhaps he is a Heavenly Immortal.”

“But to alone guard the Third Realm Sea, surely this Taiyuan is no ordinary figure among the Heavenly Immortals.”

However, upon realizing that this Taiyuan might also be involved, a sudden stir occurred within Wang Ba’s heart.

“If things are as I imagine, then surely a contingency plan is left, allowing me to escape…”

Thinking of this, he dared not dawdle, he promptly searched through this book “Miscellaneous Records of Realm Sea” again.

Yet he was, after all, only a True Spirit; the various secrets recorded in this “Miscellaneous Records of Realm Sea” clearly exceeded his comprehension.

Furthermore, without understanding the cause and effect, he could hardly grasp many things.

While he had certainly gained insights, in some respects his current perspective might only fall below Taiyuan, the Lord of Realm Sea, in the Third Realm Sea.

But knowledge is merely knowledge; it cannot lead him to obtain more.

After flipping through for a while, Wang Ba’s body grew illusory again.

In surprise, he hurriedly intended to swallow another elixir, only to find that unknowingly, merely one elixir remained.

“To read a travel journal, such consumption.”

Wang Ba shook his head slightly, not daring to neglect, and swallowed the last elixir, choosing not to continue reading, but closed “Miscellaneous Records of Realm Sea,” silently recalling the numerous matters encountered in this book, thinking more deeply:

“Though the method of the great vow can provide me hope, allowing me one day to disregard the Dao of Dharmas when breaking through Mahayana’s deadly flaw, that is a matter for later; for now, the most crucial is finding a way to return to the Realm Sea.”

“The situation regarding my physical body should not be problematic… according to the teachings of my master’s wife, since I can still maintain Spiritual Wisdom, it shows my body was not destroyed; perhaps either my body was taken by the Supreme True Buddha or saved by Master Chao and the Master of Quiet Cave.”

“However, it might also be the one from Zhang’s Ruins.”

Wang Ba’s gaze flickered.

The gradual strengthening of True Spirit allowed him to more clearly recognize his memories.

He could vividly recall his True Spirit being drawn by the horn originating from Zhang’s Ruins.

This sense of being drawn was no different from when he first contacted the core of Zhang’s Ruins. Clearly, this core, resembling an immortal corpse, probably conceals a being who transcended the Third Realm Sea.

“Just not knowing why my True Spirit did not remain in Zhang’s Ruins core but instead arrived at the Realm Sea of Origin.”

“Therefore, my physical form may also have been rescued by the existence within Zhang’s Ruins.”

Realizing this, Wang Ba’s heart gradually settled.

Afterward, his gaze swept across the study with a contemplative look:

“Suppose this Taiyuan truly is as I surmise, then surely the method for True Spirit to leave Realm Sea of Origin might be hidden within this pavilion.”

As he surveyed the entire waterside pavilion, he realized its layout was quite simple.

Aside from the bookshelf, there were merely simple tables, chairs, and the hanging paintings and calligraphy, among others.

Those tables and chairs seemed unremarkable; while he couldn’t discern the material, he felt it resembled the materials around this waterside pavilion.

The painting was even simpler, merely the character ‘Dao’.

This ‘Dao’ character revealed no particular trait, resembling a mere decoration as in an ordinary person’s study room.

The waterside pavilion’s arrangement, mismatched with Taiyuan’s identity.

Wang Ba’s gaze searched back and forth, ultimately landing on the bookshelf, cautiously bypassing several booklets, skimming over the “Miscellaneous Records of Realm Sea,” finally focusing on the uppermost book box.

The book box encased a thin booklet, seemingly valued by its owner, hence deliberately protected.

Wang Ba hesitated briefly, then extended his hand to remove the book box, light as an objectless entity, yet upon drawing the booklet from the box, a thunderous sensation overwhelmed his mind.

Promptly averting his gaze, he hastily returned it to the book box.
