Capítulo 2450: Chapter 219: Born of the Same Root

“The way of Buddhism, everything is empty.”

“All things, heaven and earth, are formed from the union of causes and conditions, with the four great elements of earth, fire, water, and wind being the most significant.”

“And to understand the great, is essentially the means of recognizing all things in heaven and earth. These six elements embrace each other and coexist. Without the element of emptiness, even when earth, fire, water, and wind combine through causes and conditions, they have nowhere to exist, as the essence of all things originally comes from emptiness. Without the element of understanding, even if the other four are contained within emptiness, they cannot be comprehended by people. Hence, there is nothing outside the mind, just as we do not exist, others too, even if they exist, equals nonexistence. Therefore, earth, fire, water, wind, and emptiness as the body, understanding as the function. The six elements coexist, constructing this Realm Sea and Domain. This is the worldview of Buddhism, differing from the cultivator’s cognition, yet ultimately leading to the same conclusion.”

Kong Zen stood beside the Perfume Sea, smiling as he spoke to Wang Ba.

Unlike Wang Ba, who solely relied on his own exploration, Kong Zen had comprehensive access to texts in the Eastern Luli Buddha Realm, along with guidance from senior monks, enabling him to rank among the top three in comprehending the six elements of Buddhism in this realm. Thus, when talking about these six elements, he does so effortlessly, directly pointing to the core.

Wang Ba listened and nodded thoughtfully in agreement:

“The rules that cultivators deal with are ever-changing and seemingly complex; however, in the end, they can be encapsulated in a single phrase. This is the way that all living things derive from one, then two, then three, and finally all things.”

He gained an epiphany in his heart:

“Indeed, the path I’m walking is one of comprehending all Dharmas, studying all Paths, mastering countless rules. Yet, rules ultimately reach their limits. Once pushed to their extremes, if there is no other rule to comprehend, what should be done?”

“There is only one way, which is to discard complexity for simplicity.”

Kong Zen, understanding his thoughts, replied with a smile:

“That’s right, it’s about subtraction. Your original path was cultivating from one to ten thousand, now that you’ve cultivated ‘ten thousand’ to infinity, if you can consolidate back to one, it will be one thought for ten thousand Dharmas, and ten thousand Dharmas for one thought. Then, only fear that even this Realm Sea won’t be able to contain you.”

Wang Ba couldn’t help but laugh:

“Such a realm is indeed hard to imagine. If truly all things returned to one, with a single thought able to move countless rules, overturning hands could recreate the world and even the Third Realm Sea. Such means are heaven-reaching, even Mahayana cultivators could only wish to catch up.”

He sighed: “Such competence, I fear, only immortals from the Second Realm Sea might bear.”

“No, even immortals may not accomplish it so lightly.”

Otherwise, Immortal Monarch Luhe and Tibo wouldn’t have erupted a great battle in the Third Realm Sea.

Therefore, in his vision, if rules could be comprehended to an infinite extent, that would suffice to reign supreme in the Third Realm Sea, yet he still has a considerable way to go, lacking accumulation.

Kong Zen shook his head:

“The Immortal Dao might seem boundless, but it also has its limits, otherwise, there wouldn’t be divisions into the first, second, and third Realm Seas…”

Wang Ba nodded in deep agreement.

Though he hasn’t reached such a realm, with his current understanding of Dao, he can make a slight speculation.

From one giving birth to all things, and then all things merging into one, this process exhausts all his imagination for cultivation.

He truly finds it difficult to imagine what it would be beyond this grand Dao…

He could only shake his head slightly and sigh:

“When a singular rule reaches its end, it becomes the Great Mahayana Realm, sufficient to traverse the Third Realm Sea. If one could traverse all cultivation paths to their utmost and reconverge them into one, it might suffice to command and be revered in the Second Realm Sea… How distant this truly is.”

Kong Zen laughed heartily and said:

“Although the road is long, walking it will undoubtedly reach the end. Doesn’t this principle still need me to spell it out?”

Wang Ba couldn’t help but also smile.

From Qi Refining to now, his distance from Mahayana is not too remote, nor does he really find the path too long to reach.

Only being lectured by such a free-spirited Kong Zen felt somewhat discordant.

Kong Zen then pointed to the Sumeru Mountain peak above, laughing:

“Let’s go. Let’s take this opportunity with the Perfume Sea to refine those many rules you’ve comprehended, clearing your thoughts and advancing further. But this will only be effective this once; beyond this time, such an opportunity will be extremely rare, so you must make the most of it.”

Then he explained in detail the precautions regarding the Perfume Sea.

“The Perfume Sea and this Sumeru Mountain have become one, containing infinite wonders. You must close off your Spiritual Sense, Mana, Dao Domain, and other external forces, becoming a mortal.”

“Drink the water and ascend the mountain, it can clear the mind, as when breaking through realms, the higher the realm, the better the effect. As you now ascend, it is not less than a top-grade Sea Pearl.”

“Afterwards, drink the water and descend the mountain, the spirit will follow with calmness, allowing you to digest what you’ve gained one by one, until further progress.”

“Once this ascent and descent are completed, the Perfume Sea’s effect will be thoroughly gone.”

“This supreme treasure from the Second Realm Sea will also mark the end of its fate with you.”

Wang Ba heard this and secretly praised its brilliance.

He immediately, alongside Kong Zen, took the leisurely steps up the mountain path beside the Perfume Sea.

Having abandoned all Divine Skills and Mana, he walked up this path step by step.

Previously, when channeling mana, he felt nothing; now, without mana, Divine Skills, Dao Domain, rules, and other external forces helping him, he suddenly felt fatigue just like a mortal.

Recalling what Kong Zen told him, he immediately turned, scooped up a handful of water from the Perfume Sea beside him, and drank it. At once, he felt a strange fragrance enter his body, his whole being at ease, and his mind also cleared.

In an instant, he seemed to forget all trivial matters, and in his mind, only the six elements of Buddhism remained.
