Chapter 1934: Law Refinement Realm level 1

On the third day, Max sat cross-legged on a floating island above a sea of silver mist. Alice and Lenavira were nearby as always, not watching from a distance like outsiders but simply there as part of the space itself.

Lily hovered above Max’s shoulder, swinging her legs in the air like a kid waiting for something interesting to happen.

Around Max, the laws of the Dimension of Genesis began to gather. At first the movement was gentle. Then it grew vast. Strands of law energy rose from every direction, circling him like countless rivers returning to their source.

The Law Awakening Realm was the stage where cultivators first sensed the deeper laws of the world, and Max had already reached its limit. Now his body, soul, and inner world weren’t just awakening to laws anymore. They were refining them.

The barrier shattered silently.

Boom!

A vast aura burst out of Max’s body. The Dimension of Genesis trembled softly, not from danger, but in response.

[Breakthrough Achieved.]

[Law Refinement Realm 1st Level.]

Max opened his eyes. For a moment, his pupils seemed to hold countless flowing laws. His aura was no longer wild. It had grown deeper, more condensed, more refined. The power inside him no longer felt newly awakened.

It felt like something being sharpened, purified, and folded into his foundation.

Alice smiled immediately. “You broke through.”

Lenavira nodded calmly. “Law Refinement Realm, first level.”

Lily clapped her hands excitedly. “Finally! That took forever!”

Max slowly stood, and the moment he did, his Pseudo Cosmic Paths responded.

First came the Emotion Severing Path. A cold, silent sword aura spread from him, but it was no longer rough or unstable. It had become cleaner, more precise, more complete. Every edge felt like it knew exactly what it was meant to cut.

Lily leaned forward curiously. “Ooooh, it feels sharper.”

Then Divine King Punishment stirred. Seven-colored lightning flickered above Max’s palm. The thunder no longer felt like raw wrath alone. It carried structure now, as if a divine tribunal was slowly taking shape inside it, and the authority behind it had deepened.

Lily’s eyes widened. “That one looks scary now.”

Then the Devouring Flames Domain woke up. Black flames appeared around Max’s fingers, silent and controlled. They no longer burned wildly. They devoured with precision, like something that had learned patience.

Lily immediately hid behind Alice. “I don’t like that one.”

Alice laughed softly. “You’re the one who always gets too close.”

The three Pseudo Cosmic Paths rose around Max at once. The Emotion Severing Path, Divine King Punishment, and the Devouring Flames Domain, along with other auras that also kept rising around his body.

Lenavira watched quietly. “They’re nearing completion.”

Max could feel it too. They were close. But not complete.

Lily peeked out again, serious for once. “You’re still far from finishing them. Even if they look close, they’re not real Cosmic Paths yet.”

Alice tilted her head. “What’s missing?”

Lily puffed her cheeks. “Everything important!”

Max closed his hand, and the paths sank back into his body.

“So they’re nearing completion,” he said quietly.

Lily nodded. “Yes. But only on the edge. My inheritance memories told me a lot about the cosmic paths. You can refine them, strengthen them, make them scarier, but completing them before the Divine Lord Realm is impossible.”

Alice looked at him. “Even for you?”

Lily shook her head firmly. “Especially for him. The stronger the path, the harder it gets. And his are weirdly strong.”

Lenavira’s gaze softened. “So Law Refinement Realm only made them more stable.”

Max nodded. “That’s enough for now.”

He could feel the difference clearly. A stronger body. Sharper laws. More refined control. And Pseudo Cosmic Paths that had stepped closer to something far greater.

Alice smiled. “You just became champion, broke through, and now you’re already getting stronger again. People outside would lose their minds.”

Max gave a faint smile. “Then they don’t need to know.”

Lily immediately pointed at him. “Yes! That’s right! We hide it!”

Alice looked at her. “You’re very enthusiastic about hiding things.”

Lily nodded proudly. “It’s fun!”

Lenavira sighed softly. “That’s not a good reason.”

Lily stuck her tongue out.

“It’s about time. I should leave with the envoy of the Primordial Race,” Max said suddenly. “Three days have passed.”

The mention of the Primordial Race settled the mood right away. The envoy would be waiting. The road to the Primordial Ancestral Domain was about to open.

Max looked toward the distant sky of the Dimension of Genesis, where countless stars shimmered over the sea of mist. The quiet days were ending. He turned back toward them.

“I’ll visit you all later.”

Alice and Lenavira both nodded solemnly. They understood that Max’s trip to the Primordial Race would matter a great deal. This wasn’t a simple reward trip, and it wasn’t just about accepting a title.

The Primordial Race stood above countless ancient bloodlines in the Divine Realm, and the chance to officially receive their bloodline and step onto the path of becoming a Primordial was something even supreme clans would dream of for their strongest descendants.

Alice looked at him for a few breaths, then smiled softly. “Be careful.”

Lenavira’s gaze was calmer, but the worry in her eyes wasn’t hidden. “Don’t trust everything too easily. The Primordial Race may be handing you a reward, but a reward from a race like that is never simple.”

Max nodded. “I know.”

Lily floated in front of him and put both hands on her waist, trying to look serious despite her small size. “Come back soon.”

“I will,” Max said with a smile.

Lily’s serious look melted away immediately. “You better.”

Max looked at Alice, Lenavira, and Lily one last time. The Dimension of Genesis stayed quiet around them, and for a moment, he felt the strange contrast between this peaceful world and the storm waiting outside.

Here, Alice and Lenavira had already become part of his life in a way that needed no explaining. Lily still acted noisy and childish, but she was also one of the few beings who understood the depth of his secrets.

Leaving them for this trip wasn’t hard because he feared for himself. It was hard because he knew every step forward would bring him closer to greater danger.

Still, he had to go.
