Summary
Seo Tae Hyuk’s got a week left before the execution, first guy to get the death penalty since the country brought it back, and all he asks for is kimchi stew without meat, the way his little brother likes it, and one visit with the only family he’s got.
Instead of his siblings, some guard shows up who knows way too much about his life, casually mentioning things about his family that no prison employee should ever know, and Tae Hyuk’s grief just about boils over before this guy’s face literally starts glitching, and he offers a deal that doesn’t feel like a deal at all.
Next thing Tae Hyuk knows, he’s sixteen again, in his old room, sister alive, brother cramming for exams, fifteen years erased like nothing happened. Feels like a dream until an escape he only remembers from prison actually happens on schedule, word for word.
So now he’s got knowledge of crimes that haven’t occurred yet, which means the future he’s trying to outrun is real, and everyone he loves is still walking straight into it unless he does something first.
